The Cabin is one of our most romantic rooms. This double room is shaped like a capsule, on view amongst the trees as you walk up the trail from our main building. Its location has been chosen so as to create a platform at the top of a steep slope overlooking the Lule River valley. As a guest, this gives you a majestic view from the room and also a remarkable entrance. A long bridge leads up from ground level, to a door seemingly hovering in mid-air.
Behind the door lie the stairs down to the room and a balcony with seating. Over the years, this is a place that many happy couples have chosen for proposals and even wedding vows.
The room hangs in a slightly askew way, underneath the deck. This is done partially to minimise its volume but also to give the room its very own character.
Inside the room, the bed is placed at the centre and there are large windows offering a high-altitude view of the forest and the river. By the windows, you will find comfortable seating.
The Cabin is a 24 sq. m. room, spacious enough for two people, with a double bed, a toilet and a terrace.
All of the Treehotel tree rooms have incinerating toilets and our sustainable Rukkamoinika water system with 3 litres of water for washing your hands.
The Cabin was designed by Mårten and Gustav Cyrén.

The Mirrorcube is an exciting hide-out among the trees, camouflaged by mirrored walls reflecting their surroundings.
The base consists of an aluminum frame around the tree trunk and the walls are covered with reflective glass.
The Bird’s nest is built on the contrasts between the outside and inside.
The treeroom’s exterior is nothing but a gigantic bird’s nest. It gives a camouflage so you quickly disappear and become part of the surroundings.
This treeroom’s location was based on the idea of creating a platform high up on a sharp hillside overlooking the Lule River valley.
You can reach the hut from here via a horizontal bridge among the trees. At the front of the bridge is a large wooden deck.
As you near the seventh room from below and look up at the sky, the entire underside of the building is covered by a life size photograph of the treetops as they looked before the room was put in place.
This clever camouflage piques one’s curiosity. What is hiding up there?
While working on the Bird’s Nest, which is largely in harmony with its surroundings, the idea of creating an entirely different environment was born.
And what could be more different than an UFO?
With its 52 square metres and 22 metric tonnes, the Dragonfly is without a doubt our biggest room.
Unique in many ways, this room can function both as a conference space as well as private suite.
The Blue Cone
The Blue Cone is based on simplicity and accessibility, both in terms of material and design.
The room is a traditional wooden structure with three foundations in the ground to give a sense of height and lightness, but also stability.
A warm welcome awaits when you stay at The Guesthouse. Here, you can feel at home in the preserved heritage in each of our unique rooms. And after a day of exploring and activities in our breathtaking nature, come home, kick off your shoes and relax by the fireplace.
