Welcome autumn!

Almost at the same time as the light summer nights started to get darker, the first northern lights showed up on the evening sky already in August. A new season is coming, with beautiful autumn colors, the first nights of frost and crisp and clear air. The trail between the restaurant and rooms, and the view from the rooms, come alive with autumn colors. 

This time of year is perfect for outdoor activities in our beautiful surroundings. At Treehotel you can experience nature in many ways - horseriding, dogsledding, moose calling, hiking, fishing, kayaking, river hot tub or forest spa... Or just take a walk all by yourself, listen to the sounds of nature and breathe in the scents of the forest.

The glistening snow creaks beneath your shoes along wintery, fairytale paths and you can feel the cold nipping your rosy cheeks. During midwinter, we only have a few hours of daylight. Dawn and dusk illuminate the snow-covered forests in a golden shimmer, followed by magical northern light nights. In March-April, the sun returns and the days grow noticeably longer, day by day.
